For a long time, I didn’t use eco-friendly products. Not because I didn’t care - but because I felt like my small changes wouldn’t make a difference. I was overwhelmed by greenwashed marketing, inflated prices, and the pressure to be perfectly sustainable. It felt inaccessible and, honestly, a bit performative.

That changed when I started working for the Queensland government and saw the realities of plastic pollution up close. I realised the system isn’t going to fix itself - and that if everyone made just one small, consistent change, we could shift things. That’s when The Bare Bottle was born.

I created this business to offer low-waste essentials that are practical and transparent. We’re not here to sell guilt or perfection - we’re here to make it easier to do better, one refill or swap at a time. I'm so glad you're here.
