What is a Refillery?
A refillery is a place where you can refill your everyday products instead of buying new containers each time. At The Bare Bottle we offer refillery services at local markets, that means bringing your own bottles (or grabbing one of ours) and topping up on eco-friendly home and body products like hand wash, dish liquid, laundry powder, surface spray, and more.
We measure and price by weight, so you only pay for what you need - no excess packaging, no single-use waste, and no markups for unnecessary “eco” branding.

We're currently a mobile refillery - but one day soon, we hope to open a permanent storefront where you can refill, shop, and connect all in one space.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to bring my own bottles?
Nope! You’re welcome to bring your own clean, dry containers of any shape or size - but we also have reusable 500ml amber glass bottles available to buy, or you can borrow one from our free bottle swap bin at the stall.
What can I refill?
We offer a range of home and body care products including hand wash, dish liquid, laundry powder, surface spray, and more. Our range rotates based on what’s available and what people love - check our socials for current stock.
How is it priced?
All refills are priced by volume (per millilitre). You only pay for what you take - no packaging markups, no minimums.
Do I need to fill the whole bottle?
Not at all. Refill as much or as little as you need. You’re in control
Do bottles need to be completely clean?
Ideally yes - bottles should be clean and dry to avoid contamination. A quick rinse and air-dry is perfect. If in doubt, ask us at the stall - we’re happy to help.
Are your products natural or organic?
We focus on non-toxic, plant-based ingredients that are effective, safe for greywater systems, and sourced from Australian brands that align with our values. Some are certified organic and vegan and all are carefully selected for quality and transparency.
